Terms for ticket buyers
Effective October 1, 2026
These terms apply when you buy tickets on a website powered by Packdoor (run by The Desi Troop Holdings Ltd.). The event's organizer sells the tickets and runs the event; Packdoor provides the website, checkout and tickets.
1. Who you're buying from
The organizer named on the event page is the seller of your tickets and is responsible for the event: that it happens as described, entry, safety and refunds. Packdoor processes the payment on the organizer's behalf and sends your tickets.
2. Prices and payment
- The price you see includes every fee and tax. There are no extra charges at checkout.
- Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card statement shows the organizer's name.
- If you choose Interac e-Transfer, your tickets are held until the deadline shown. You receive them once the organizer confirms your payment. If the payment doesn't arrive in time, the order is cancelled and the tickets are released.
- Tickets in your cart are held for a short time while you pay.
3. Your tickets
- Each ticket has a QR code that lets one person in, once, unless the event allows re-entry. The first scan counts: keep your tickets private and don't post them online.
- You can see, download and add your tickets to your calendar from the link in your confirmation email. If the organizer allows it, you can pass a ticket on to someone else once from that page. Their new ticket replaces yours.
- Tickets may not be resold for more than you paid, or used for advertising or promotions, without the organizer's permission.
4. Refunds and changes
- Refunds follow the organizer's refund policy, shown on their website. You can ask for a refund from your order page; the organizer decides.
- If a date is cancelled, you're refunded in full, including all fees, automatically, and told by email.
- If a date is postponed or moved, your ticket is valid for the new date. Check the email you receive for refund options.
- Refunds go back to the card you paid with. They can take 5 to 10 business days to appear.
- Please contact the organizer before disputing a payment with your bank.
5. At the event
The organizer and venue set the entry rules: age limits (bring government photo ID when required), dress code, security checks and conduct. They may refuse entry or remove someone who doesn't follow them. Line-ups and set times can change.
6. Your information
The organizer receives your name, email and order so they can run the event. They email you marketing only if you ticked the box at checkout. See our Privacy policy for how Packdoor handles your information.
7. Packdoor's responsibility
Packdoor is responsible for its website, checkout and tickets working as described, and for passing your payment to the organizer. Packdoor is not responsible for the event itself. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection law.
8. Contact
Questions about the event: contact the organizer through their website. Problems with your order, tickets or payment: reply to your confirmation email or write to info@packdoor.ca.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada, without taking away the protection of the consumer laws of the province where you live.
