Run a waitlist

When a ticket type sells out, a waitlist lets people queue. Freed tickets are held for the next person for a time you choose.

Steps

On the date's settings, find the Waitlist card and turn on "Offer a waitlist when tickets sell out".
Set "Hold freed tickets for (hours)" and save.
Open the Waitlist page to see who is waiting. Choose "Offer now" to send a ticket to the next person yourself, or remove someone with "Yes, remove".

The hold is from 1 to 72 hours and never runs past the end of sales.
It applies per ticket type, and only to ticket types that are sold out.
Only owners, admins and event managers can see the waitlist.
With the waitlist off, nobody new joins and no automatic offers go out. No offers are made once sales are closed.
