Get your events on Google
Each event page on your site carries the data Google reads for event listings. Whether Google lists an event is Google's decision, but a few things on your side make it possible.
What Packdoor adds for you
- Event data on every event page: name, dates, status (including cancelled and postponed), image, venue, organizer and the all-in ticket prices.
- A sitemap of your listed events, so Google can find them.
What you need to do
- Give the venue a real street address and postal code (Events, Venues).
- Upload a poster; Google recommends one at least 1200 pixels wide.
- Write a real description and keep at least one ticket type on sale.
- List the event publicly. Unlisted and password-protected events are link-only and are not in the sitemap.
Good to know
- Listings can take days or weeks to appear, and nobody can guarantee them.
- Tell Google about your site with Search Console: see the Search Console guide.
