Use your own web address
Your site always works at its Packdoor address. You can add your own domain too and make it the main one.
Steps
- Open Settings, then "Web addresses", and choose "Add a domain you own".
- Enter the address and choose "Add domain". Packdoor shows the DNS records to create: an A record for a bare domain, or a CNAME plus a TXT record for a subdomain.
- Add them where your domain's DNS is managed, then choose "Check now".
- When the address shows "Live", choose "Make main address" if you want it to be the main one.
Good to know
- Up to 5 of your own addresses per site.
- Only owners and admins can change addresses.
- Your Packdoor address keeps working and cannot be removed or added as your own.
- DNS changes can take a while to spread; check again later if it is not live yet.
