Packdoor vs Ticket Tailor

Ticket Tailor is a well-liked ticketing tool with low fees. Packdoor adds a full website, a back office and Canadian tax and French built in.

Fees on a $25.00 ticket

What the buyer pays on top of the ticket price, from each company's own published fees. Ticket Tailor lists $1.00 per ticket pay-as-you-go (from $0.38 with prepaid credits) (CAD, before tax), plus card processing from Stripe at 2.9% + $0.30 on its Canadian example.

PlatformFee on one ticketBuyer pays
Packdoor Start$2.74$28.10
Packdoor Grow$2.04$27.31
Packdoor Pro$1.47$26.66
Ticket Tailor$2.03$27.03

Fees are shown before any tax on them, with the buyer paying the fee. Eventbrite's figure includes its 2.9% card processing; Ticket Tailor's includes Stripe's 2.9% + $0.30 because Ticket Tailor does not process cards itself. Packdoor's fee includes card processing. How to switch

You do not have to move everything at once. Start with one event.

  1. Create your Packdoor site and connect card payments with Stripe.
  2. Rebuild your next event, with the same tickets and dates.
  3. Export your buyers from Ticket Tailor and keep them for your own mailing, with consent as the law requires.
  4. Point your ticket links and social bios to your Packdoor site.

Questions

Is Packdoor cheaper than Ticket Tailor?

Not always. Ticket Tailor's own fee is very low and lower still when you prepay credits, but you also pay card processing. On a $25.00 ticket the fees came to $2.03 with Ticket Tailor pay-as-you-go and $2.74 with Packdoor Start as read on October 29, 2026. The calculator shows your own numbers.

Does Packdoor pay Stripe's card fee?

Yes. Packdoor's fee includes card processing for organizers who sign up through Packdoor, so there is no separate card fee to add.

Can I bring my past events from Ticket Tailor?

Packdoor can bring past events in as past-event pages; on Pro we do the import for you. Ticket Tailor stays a one-time history import, not a live channel.
