Packdoor vs Posh

Posh describes itself as a social platform with an app where people discover events. Packdoor is the opposite bet: your own site, your own list, your own brand.

Fees on a $25.00 ticket

What the buyer pays on top of the ticket price, from each company's own published fees. Posh lists 10% + $0.99 all-in per paid ticket on its own page, and the organizer can pass it to the buyer or absorb it.

PlatformFee on one ticketBuyer pays
Packdoor Start$2.74$28.10
Packdoor Grow$2.04$27.31
Packdoor Pro$1.47$26.66
Posh$3.49$28.49

Fees are shown before any tax on them, with the buyer paying the fee. Eventbrite's figure includes its 2.9% card processing; Ticket Tailor's includes Stripe's 2.9% + $0.30 because Ticket Tailor does not process cards itself. Packdoor's fee includes card processing. Fees change: check the company's own page.

Where Posh is better

  • It runs an app where people discover events, which Packdoor does not.
  • It is built around party and nightlife culture, which many organizers already use.

Where Packdoor is better

  • Your own site on your own domain, not an event page inside someone else's app.
  • A lower per-ticket fee on published rates.
  • Canadian tax by province, English and French, and Interac e-Transfer built in.
  • Your buyers and your mailing list are yours.

How to switch

You do not have to move everything at once. Start with one event.

  1. Create your Packdoor site.
  2. Rebuild your next night, with the same tickets.
  3. Move your link in bio and your posts to the new ticket site.
  4. Keep Posh for nights where its app helps you get found.

Questions

Is Packdoor cheaper than Posh?

On published fees, yes. On a $25.00 ticket the fee is $2.74 with Packdoor Start and $3.49 with Posh, as read on October 29, 2026, before tax.

Can I keep using Posh for some events?

Yes. Nothing stops you from selling some nights on Posh. Packdoor is where your own site, list and brand live.

Will my buyers find me?

Through your links, your social posts and your mailing list. Packdoor does not have a marketplace to send you people, and says so.
