Find and request a venue
The venue finder lists venues that host outside organizers. You search, compare, and send a request; the venue accepts or declines.
Steps
- In the console, open "Find a venue". Choose the city, the number of guests, the layout and your dates (up to 62 days apart), then "Search".
- Add up to three venues to "Compare".
- Open a venue and choose "Request this night" (or "Request this venue"). Answer the venue's questions and send.
- Watch the answer under "Venue requests". Once a request is booked, choose "Booked: put it on an event" to attach it to your event.
Deposits
- Sending a request books nothing. The venue accepts or declines, and an accepted request holds the night.
- If the venue takes its deposit through Packdoor, you pay it by card with "Pay the deposit now" (the payment stays open for 15 minutes). Otherwise you settle the deposit with the venue directly.
- Venues that turned on instant booking show "Book now and pay the deposit": your night is held for 15 minutes while you pay.
